The idea for a completely new type of amplifier was first developed by our engineers more than ten years ago, and its development began in earnest in 2011. The aim was to establish a new benchmark in high-end audio equipment and music playback.
Engineers working on a given product often start with what already exists. They may ask themselves how something might work better or where improvements could be made. We started working on the Statement with a blank sheet of paper and the vision of creating a completely new amplifier.

NAP S1 Satement is a new bridge design with zero global feedback. The two levels are physically separated from each other to isolate the circuit with a gentle voltage gain stage at the very top of the power amplifier, away from the current stage at the bottom.
